10 Emerging Technologies

This is an article I came across recently on technolgoies that could have a significant impact in the next few decades.

I felt it was warranted a special post, especially because some of the stuff is extremely exciting.

From a technology perspective, there is research being done on intelligent, frequency-agile wireless devices and open-source, interoperable authentication mechanisms (like the Liberty Alliance).

There are also articles on medicine and gene research, which are a little too esoteric for me, but you are welcome to take a look! :-)
