My wife and I ended up driving to the store to get a tape measure because the whole measure it with your feet thing just wasn't working. If there's one tip I might add, *move in large items first! we made the mistake of moving in small boxes so when it came time to bring in sofas and the table, it was cluttered and difficult to maneuver. seems like common sense, but in all the excitement and hurry... great post!
